Be a Bee Protestor this afternoon!

You’re not too late to join this afternoon’s protest by British beekeepers, who are marching to Downing Street today. Their timetable:
13.00 Meet for 13.30 Start.
14.00 Deliver Petition to Downing Street.
14.30 Enter Houses of Parliament via Visitors Entrance.
14.45 Lobby begins.
15.30 Disperse.

They’ve got a well-organised set of instructions here. If you live in London and you like honey – why not join them?!

The BBKA are delivering a petition, signed by thousands, to support a substantial increase in research into bees. They believe more should be done to help safeguard our honeybees! There have been increasingly disastrous seasons for beekeepers and bee farmers in recent years.
